PSIKOEDUKASI TENTANG BULLYING PADA SISWA DAN SISWI SD FRATER THAMRIN MAKASSAR

ABSTRAK
Bullying merupakan perilaku agresif dan negatif seseorang atau sekelompok orang secara berulang
dengan menyalahgunakan kekuatan untuk menyakiti korban sehingga menyebabkan
ketidakseimbangann mental/psikis, fisik maupun seksual. Kasus bullying sangat ramai dibicarakan di
media masa baik terhadap anak, guru dan pembantu rumah tangga. Kasus kekerasan ini biasanya
berujung pada pelaporan di kepolisian. Anak-anak usia sekolah dasar sangat rentan terhadap
pruendungan. Untuk itu siswa dan siswi perlu diberikan psikoedukasi terkait hal ini. Pengabdian
masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi agar siswa dapat menyadari bahaya bullying
serta dapat mencegahnya dengan berperilaku asertif dan apabila melihat bullying, siswa berani untuk
melaporkan kepada pihak bewajib. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan
di SD Frater Thamrin Makassar dan dihadiri oleh 210 siswa dan siswi. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah
kegiatan ini siswa dan siswi dapat memahami informasi terkait bullying, jenis bullying, bahaya bullying
dan sikap asertif mencegah bullying. Diharapkan psikokoedukasi ini dapat membantu untuk
memberikan kesadaran bahwa bullying adalah sebiah kekerasan sehingga siswa dan siswa tidak
melakukan dan dapat melacegahnya.

ABSTRACT
Bullying is an aggressive and destructive action carried out by a person or group who utilize their
position of authority to repeatedly harm their victims, often leading to imbalances in the mind, body,
and even sexuality. Media publications have frequently covered bullying incidents which involve
children, teachers, and housekeepers. These cases of violence also commonly result in police reports.
Children in elementary school are usually more vulnerable to bullying. Therefore, elementary school
students should receive psychoeducation in this area. The purpose of this community service was to
educate students to be more aware of the dangers of bullying and so that they may prevent it through
assertive behavior and courage to inform authorities when bullying incidents occur. The method used
in this activity was lectures. This activity was conducted at Frater Thamrin Elementary School,
Makassar City, and was attended by 210 students of both genders. The results obtained after this activity
show that all of the students were able to grasp all information presented on bullying, types of bullying,
the dangers of bullying, and the role of assertiveness in bullying prevention. This psychoeducation is
expected to be able to assist the students to understand that bullying is violence, so they can avoid and
stop it.
